CHARLES LITTLEBOY JAILED IN THIRSK FOR HORRIFIC ANIMAL AND CHILD ABUSE VIDEOS

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Thirsk and the wider North Yorkshire region, Charles Littleboy, aged 55, has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison after admitting to a series of heinous crimes involving both animal cruelty and child exploitation. The court proceedings revealed a deeply disturbing pattern of illegal activity that spanned several years, involving the production and distribution of indecent images and videos of both children and animals.

According to evidence presented at Teesside Crown Court, Littleboy, a former police officer and once a prominent figure in the agricultural community as a director of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, was found to have filmed a man engaging in sexual acts with a pony at his residence in Howe, Thirsk. The incident took place within Littleboy’s stables, where the man was purportedly participating in an animal breeding practical course. The court heard that the video was made several years ago, during which time the man stayed at Littleboy’s property.

Police investigations uncovered not only this footage but also a disturbing collection of images depicting the sexual abuse of young boys, stored on two computers at Littleboy’s home. The images included photographs of children as young as four, some of whom appeared to be distressed, gagged, and bound. One particularly shocking image showed a baby around three months old being subjected to abuse. The court was told that Littleboy had downloaded these images over a period of more than six years, up until 2010, from the internet, and had engaged in depraved discussions with other paedophiles about abusing children.

Prosecutor Shaun Dodds detailed that police also discovered videos involving the same man having sex with a dog, further illustrating the extent of Littleboy’s involvement in animal abuse. The court heard that some of the extreme pornography found on his devices related to bestiality, including the material he had filmed himself at his property, which he claimed was consensual. Other images depicted sexual mutilation of men, adding to the severity of the case.

During the trial, Littleboy’s defense lawyer, Simon Reevell, argued that his client did not coerce the man into having sex with the pony, stating, “Although it is a difficult and unpleasant thought, there was a willingness on the part of both of them.” However, the court was also informed of the conversations Littleboy had engaged in online, including one with a user known as Pervy Dwain, where he discussed sexually abusing a baby and expressed sickening fantasies. The court reviewed chat logs where Littleboy asked, “Tell me what you would do to a young one and how sick you would like it to be.”

Judge Peter Fox, the Recorder of Middlesbrough, acknowledged the damage caused by Littleboy’s actions, noting that his reputation was irreparably tarnished. Nonetheless, he emphasized the gravity of the crimes and the suffering inflicted upon the victims, both human and animal. The judge sentenced Littleboy to two and a half years in prison, ordered him to be placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register for life, and prohibited him from having any unsupervised contact with children.

Littleboy’s background includes a history of service as a police officer with North Yorkshire Police during the 1980s, as well as roles within prominent agricultural and potato industry organizations. Despite his previous standing, the court made it clear that his actions had led to his complete social and moral downfall, with the court condemning the depravity of his crimes and the suffering of his victims.
