FRENCHMAN CONVICTED OF 2020 MURDER OF WIFE CONFESSES FROM JAIL
Cédric Jubillar, aged 38, who was convicted of the December 2020 murder of his wife Delphine, has admitted guilt in a prison confession, acknowledging that he was responsible for her death at their family residence. He communicated with his legal team through a letter, vowing to guide investigators to her remains.
Although he received a 30-year prison sentence last year, he maintained his innocence throughout the trial.
His upcoming appeal, set for two months later, might now be delayed.
Jubillar stated that he killed Delphine following a marital dispute and used his vehicle to transport her body.
The investigation was initiated when he reported her missing during the COVID lockdown, but her remains have yet to be recovered.
His lawyer expressed relief for the children and hopes that Jubillar will eventually disclose her location.
