A Lochgelly man named Casey Japp was convicted of assaulting a teenage girl after inviting her to look at his 'boaby', a term he insisted was a joke.
The incident occurred while he was walking home from his grandfather’s funeral with his girlfriend.
Japp's remark was challenged by the girl, which led him to become aggressive and push her against a wall.
When police arrived to arrest him, he resisted by biting one of the officers on her arm, causing a large bruise.
He was taken to Dunfermline Police Station and, upon being charged, he made no reply to the accusations of assault and resisting arrest but responded with the word 'jobbie' during police questioning.
