In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Sleaford, Carol Bowditch, a pensioner born on July 13, 1952, along with her partner Daniel Galloway, have been found guilty of participating in heinous acts involving animals and child exploitation. The pair, residing at Paperchase House on Papermill Lane in Evedon, Sleaford, were implicated in a series of disturbing activities that have garnered widespread condemnation.Details of their crimes emerged following an investigation by RAF Police, which initially focused on an individual believed to be organizing bizarre sex parties. These events reportedly involved owners and participants watching their dogs engage in sexual acts with women, who then also engaged in sexual activities with men. The depravity of these gatherings was further exposed when details were posted on an internet forum dedicated to bestiality, revealing the extent of the illegal activities.
Authorities conducted a search of Bowditch and Galloway’s shared residence, uncovering evidence that included a DVD and a USB stick. Among the seized items was an eight-minute video depicting Bowditch engaging in sexual acts with a St Bernard dog named Oscar. Additionally, investigators found still images of child pornography stored on the devices, highlighting the severity of their offenses.
During police questioning, Daniel Galloway admitted to assisting Bowditch in her sexual activities with dogs. He explicitly named two animals involved in these acts, known as “Badger” and “Rocky.” Galloway’s involvement extended beyond animal abuse, as he was found to possess over 12,000 indecent images of children, along with 191 extreme images depicting Bowditch having sex with dogs. His actions and possession of such material underscore the depravity of the case.
In court, James Gray, representing Galloway, highlighted that both Bowditch and Galloway had endured significant public humiliation as a result of their actions. The sentencing reflected the gravity of their crimes. Bowditch received a 12-month community order, while Galloway was sentenced to 12 months in prison. Galloway was also ordered to register as a sex offender for ten years and was subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, emphasizing the long-term consequences of his actions.
This case has left a lasting impact on the community of Sleaford, raising serious concerns about the safety and well-being of both animals and children. The authorities’ swift action in bringing these individuals to justice underscores the importance of vigilance and enforcement in combating such heinous crimes.
