UK Sexual Abuser
Carlo Troiano, a 41-year-old British IT teacher, faces serious legal charges in Spain related to allegations of sexual abuse involving a 15-year-old girl. Prosecutors have requested a 12-year prison sentence if he is convicted. Troiano is accused of engaging in sexual activities with the under-aged student at St George's School located in Almeria. The incident allegedly occurred after Troiano moved to Spain following his dismissal from a school in Cheshire, England, where similar allegations had been made against him in 2010. The case became more complicated when Troiano was re-arrested in Germany last October. Prosecutors claim he attempted to intimidate the girl into retracting her accusations, even allegedly telling her he had gotten her name tattooed on his body. Troiano was previously held on remand in a UK prison before being bailed and subsequently rearrested. He is also under investigation for allegedly trying to abuse her under-age cousin and for distributing child pornography. Despite being cleared of similar charges in 2010 related to a different girl at Warrington Crown Court, Troiano has continuously been linked to allegations of sexual misconduct. He is described as a divorced father of two from Wirral, England. His legal history includes an earlier trial where he was acquitted of sexual activity with a 16-year-old girl in 2010, an incident that led to his dismissal from the Cheshire school. Troiano expressed frustration after his previous acquittal, stating, "I feel very angry someone could say things that are not true." The ongoing investigation and the severity of the charges highlight the serious nature of the allegations against him.
