LONGFORD OFFENDER ORDERED TO REGISTER AS SEX OFFENDER

A PERVERT who whistled at a 16-year-old girl before flashing her has been ordered to sign the Sex Offender’s Register.

Carl Robert Spero, aged 20, of Densham Avenue, Longford, exposed himself in two incidents in Warrington.

He performed a sex act on himself to a 16-year-old girl in Orford on November 16, last year.

And on September 3 last year, Spero flashed a 49-year-old woman.

She was also walking in Orford when Spero performed a sex act on himself.

The former Padgate High student had denied the charges and claimed to be urinating to police.

He was sentenced for two counts of exposure at Halton Magistrates Court last week.

The defendant was also sentenced for one incident of assault, and one of obstructing a constable in execution of duty.

He will be registered as a sex offender for five years, and will undergo the Northumbria sex offender’s programme.

Spero will also be subject to three years of supervision.
