STONY STRATFORD SEX OFFENDER JAILED FOR EXPLOITING VULNERABLE FEMALE
A man has been sentenced to more than three years in prison for sexual offences in Stony Stratford, following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.
Carl Leon O’Selmo, aged 45 and of Buckthorn, Stacey Bushes, pleaded guilty to four counts of engaging in sexual activity by penetration with a female who was mentally disordered.
The court heard that the offences occurred over a four-month period during which O’Selmo exploited a vulnerable victim and assaulted her multiple times.
In a statement, Detective Constable Jessica Cooper of Milton Keynes CID expressed her satisfaction with the conviction and sentencing, stating, “I am pleased that O’Selmo was convicted and has now been sentenced for his offending against a vulnerable female victim.” She added that O’Selmo took advantage of the victim in an abhorrent manner and expressed hope that the sentence provides some solace for her.
Detective Cooper also paid tribute to the victim’s courage and support during the investigation.
Furthermore, she emphasized Thames Valley Police’s commitment to combatting violence against women and girls, supporting victims, and prosecuting offenders involved in such crimes.
