BRYAN THORNHILL FROM SOUTH GODSTONE JAILED FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES INVOLVING EXTREME PORNOGRAPHY AND CHILD ENDANGERMENT

In a case that has shocked the local community of South Godstone, Bryan Thornhill, a man known for running an adult-themed establishment, has been sentenced to prison for a series of serious sexual offences.

The conviction follows a detailed trial held at Guildford Crown Court in November, where the jury reached a unanimous verdict after carefully examining the evidence presented.

Thornhill, aged 59 and residing on Lagham Road in South Godstone, was found guilty on a total of 11 charges.

These included five counts related to engaging in sexual activities in the presence of a minor, raising grave concerns about the safety and well-being of children in the community.

Additionally, he was convicted on six counts involving the possession of extreme pornographic images, some of which depicted his own pet dog, further highlighting the disturbing nature of his offenses.

Thornhill is also known for operating the North Downs Pony Club, an adult-only erotic group that promotes what it describes as “safe, sane and consensual adult pony play.” This establishment, which caters exclusively to consenting adults, has now become a focal point of controversy following these revelations.

The court’s judgment underscores the severity of his actions and the breach of trust involved.

Today, the court sentenced Thornhill to 21 months in prison.

Furthermore, he has been ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for a period of ten years, a measure that aims to monitor and prevent any potential future offenses.
