PAEDOPHILE WHO TOOK IMAGES OF KIDS UNDER ONE YEARS OLD RELEASED
Last year, Brian Yates, a 39-year-old man with a disturbing sexual interest in infants, was handed a two-year prison term but has now been released.
The police investigation into his possession of indecent images led to his sentencing in 2023.
During the case, officers found that Yates had personally taken indecent photographs of a baby under the age of one on at least eight occasions.
These images were classified as category B, a mid-level severity.
The child's identity was confirmed by her mother at the police’s request.
The phone also contained images downloaded from other sources, falling into categories A and C, alongside messages in which Yates expressed intentions to offend against the eight-month-old girl.
Yates had also offered to babysit the child while her mother was working.
He has known links to both Blackpool and Darwin, located in Lancashire.
