NORFOLK MAN SUPERIMPOSED CHILD'S HEAD ONTO NAKED IMAGES
A man who placed a real child's head onto images of nude women has received a three-year prison sentence.Bradley Tompkins was found with over 100 illicit images, 65 of which included the child's face, who is under 16 and therefore cannot be named due to legal restrictions.
All the offenses occurred on or before October 7, 2024.
Judge Katharine Moore described the offenses as "extremely troubling," highlighting that Tompkins used images of adult women and "made them illegal" by superimposing a teenage girl’s face onto them.
She emphasized that his actions "pose a risk to female children of committing similar offenses again." Tompkins, residing on Coronation Avenue, Nordelph, near Downham Market, appeared in court on Monday after previously pleading guilty to five counts of producing indecent images of children and possessing extreme pornographic material.
Prosecutor Richard Paterson stated that the images were found on three separate devices, including a computer tower in Tompkins's bedroom.
Out of the 65 images featuring the child's face, 32 were classified as category A, the most severe, with others falling into categories B and C.
The materials also included 51 images deemed extremely pornographic and 45 videos involving animals.
Judge Moore described Tompkins’s conduct as grotesque and disturbing.
However, she noted that he has sought help and has not committed any offenses since his arrest.
As part of his sentence, Tompkins was issued a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for ten years and was placed on the Sex Offenders' Register indefinitely.
