Sutton man with violent past admits to strangling woman

A man from Sutton with a documented history of domestic violence has admitted to strangling a woman. Bradley Jackson, aged 40 and residing on Myrtle Road, carried out the offence on May 4 in Wallington. The same day, he also damaged a leather handbag and an iPhone belonging to the same woman. Jackson appeared before Croydon Crown Court on Wednesday, July 2, where he pleaded guilty to intentionally strangling the woman. Court documents reveal that he also admitted to two counts of criminal damage. Due to his extensive history of domestic violence, he was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at Croydon Crown Court. Authorities stated that he poses a significant risk of injury or fear to his victim and was in breach of a suspended order previously imposed by Croydon Crown Court.
