BRIDLINGTON MAN ON THE BRINK OF JAIL FOR CHILD IMAGES AND FRAUD
Barry Dockerty, aged 29 and from Bridlington, was involved in sharing explicit images of children via his Blackberry device.He has prior convictions for fraud and witness intimidation.
After being released from prison in December, he sent graphic images of children to someone who then reported him to the authorities.
Dockerty faced charges for distributing indecent material and was subsequently sentenced to a 12-month community order, including 120 hours of unpaid work.
He violated this order by skipping unpaid work sessions and not cooperating with probation officers.
He was also re-sentenced for several other offenses, such as a £500 fraud on eBay and witness intimidation.
The court cautioned him that he was "right on the edge" of imprisonment again, and his sentencing was postponed until November 12 to allow him an additional opportunity to comply with the conditions.
