ASHLEY MEADEN FROM TROWBRIDGE ARRESTED FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY OFFENSES IN SWINDON
In a recent development at Swindon Crown Court, a 24-year-old man from Trowbridge, Ashley Meaden, has admitted to possessing and creating indecent images of children, along with possessing extreme pornography.The court proceedings took place on a Friday, during which Meaden pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to child exploitation materials.
Meaden, who resides on Arras Close in Trowbridge, was found to have stored illicit images on his computer, a discovery that has serious legal and moral implications.
The court heard that he not only possessed these images but also engaged in the act of creating them, which significantly aggravates the severity of his offenses.
Following his admission, Judge Douglas Field decided to adjourn the case until Friday, April 25.
This adjournment was granted to allow the probation service sufficient time to prepare a comprehensive pre-sentence report, which will likely influence the sentencing decision.
During the hearing, the judge also ordered Meaden to be released on bail, pending further proceedings.
