SERIAL GLASGOW RAPIST STILL MISSING AFTER BEING FOUND GUILTY OF 5 COUNTS OF RAPE
A man named Artur Drazkowski, aged 38, has been convicted of multiple sexual offenses, including five counts of rape, committed against a teenage girl primarily in Clydebank between December 2017 and February 2019.Following a trial at Glasgow High Court last month, jurors found him guilty of eight charges.
During the trial, evidence showed that Drazkowski used alcohol, cannabis, and a mysterious substance to intoxicate the girl, then proceeded to assault her violently and forcibly.
The victim bravely testified for seven hours, describing how he locked her in a car during the attacks.
The court also heard disturbing text messages where Drazkowski admitted to being 'evil' and expressed remorse, stating he had 'pangs of conscience' and 'lost his morality.' He claimed the accusations were 'complete fabrication,' but the jury convicted him based on evidence, including messages and the victim's testimony.
Drazkowski was not present when the verdict was read because he was found in his car, unwell, either in hospital in Glasgow or Stirling, and initially, no arrest warrant was issued.
His lawyer mentioned police would not share his current condition.
He was scheduled for sentencing but did not appear, having gone AWOL.
Authorities now believe he may have absconded abroad and have issued a warrant for his arrest.
It is feared that he poses a dangerous sex offender, and efforts are ongoing to capture him.
