APPEAL REJECTED FOR ARCHIBALD PALMER IN GLASGOW CASE
An appeal by Archibald Palmer, who was convicted of raping a 14-year-old girl in Glasgow in 2013, has been dismissed.The Court of Appeal upheld the original conviction, rejecting Palmer’s challenge, and confirmed his sentence of six and a half years in prison.
The case relied on forensic evidence and the victim's testimony, and the court stressed that the evidence was sufficient to support the verdict.
