MAN JAILED FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES
Three young girls have received commendation for their bravery after a man was sentenced today for sexual crimes committed against them.
Antonio Napolitano, 39 years old, residing on Turnsteads Drive in Cleckheaton, was convicted on 6 February following a trial at Leeds Crown Court.
His convictions include three counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by penetration and five counts of touching a girl under 13.
Today, at Leeds Crown Court, Napolitano reappeared to be sentenced, receiving an extended term of 18 years for offenses that occurred over a decade.
He has also been placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life, subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order that limits his interaction with children, and a restraining order has been issued against him.
