ANTHONY STALLARD SENTENCED IN FAREHAM FOR ASSAULT IN SOUTHSEA
Anthony Stallard, 30, of Alverstone Road, Southsea, pleaded guilty to assault by beating in Fareham on June 28.Portsmouth magistrates sentenced him to eight weeks in jail.
He is also required to pay a £128 victim surcharge, which is a statutory obligation that courts must enforce.
The magistrates opted not to order any compensation for the victim.
Additionally, Stallard admitted failing to surrender to court after being released on bail; however, this resulted in no separate penalty.
His guilty plea was taken into account during his sentencing.
