POWYS MAN, 22, CONVICTED OF CHILD INDECENCY IMAGES, BREACHES ORDER
Anthony Millard, 22, was handed a suspended sentence of six months in June 2024 after being convicted of making indecent images of children.Millard was convicted on three counts of making indecent images between December 2015 and June 2023, when he lived in Llandrindod Wells.
The charges related to him making seven indecent images relating to the most serious Category A; making three Category B images and three Category C images.
At Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Monday, September 8, Millard, now of Dol y Dderwen, Ystradgynlais, admitted that he had been convicted of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) in June this year, and that by doing so he was in breach of his suspended sentence order.
The order includes instructions not to use private browsing on any devices, and he admitted using a private internet browser for a "DIY project" and accessing an OnlyFans website.
He was sentenced for the breach to an 18-month community order and for breaching the suspended sentence to four months in prison, with the judge activating part of his previous sentence.
The breach was discovered during a routine police visit.
Millard has shown willingness to better himself and address his offending behaviour, and his defense argued that the breach was relatively minor, given that nothing illegal was necessarily being accessed.
