ANTHONY KING FROM RUNCORN SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES AND REFUSAL TO DISCLOSE PHONE

In a recent court case held in Runcorn, Anthony King, a 24-year-old man with a troubling criminal history, was sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for a period of time, after he was found guilty of breaching a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO). The breach occurred when King refused to cooperate with police officers by failing to disclose the contents of his mobile phone during an investigation.

Anthony King’s criminal record includes convictions related to the possession of indecent images and online grooming activities. Despite these previous convictions, he continued to engage in suspicious online behavior. During the investigation, authorities discovered that King had exchanged messages with a teenage runaway, which raised concerns about potential exploitation or grooming. Although the messages exchanged were not pornographic in nature, they included non-explicit photographs sent by King to the teenager.
