ANTANAS JANCEVSKIS FROM BOSTON SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS FOR RAPE IN LEICESTER
In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community, Antanas Jancevskis, a man from Boston, Lincolnshire, was convicted of a heinous sexual assault that took place in Leicester.The incident occurred on the night of April 17, 2022, following a social gathering in the vicinity of Glenfield Road, where both Jancevskis and the victim had attended a barbecue.
The evening seemed ordinary at first, with the woman being taken home by two friends after the event and settling in for the night on her sofa.
However, her peaceful sleep was shattered when she awoke to find Jancevskis, aged 35, lying beside her on the sofa.
The situation quickly escalated as he proceeded to commit a sexual assault against her.
The victim, in a state of distress and fear, managed to escape from her flat when Jancevskis left to use the toilet.
