CAMBRIDGESHIRE PENSIONER JAILED FOR DECADES-OLD CHILD SEX OFFENCES
Andrew Wesley, aged 68, has begun serving a 12-year prison term after being convicted of historic child sex offences.
The individual from Comberton near Cambridge was found guilty of sexually assaulting two underage girls between 1998 and 2003, following a trial at Peterborough Crown Court.
Despite denying the allegations, Wesley was sentenced on September 13 after being convicted on multiple counts of indecent assault.
Authorities revealed that the investigation was launched two years earlier, triggered by complaints from the victims.
A police spokesperson explained, "Wesley's offending was uncovered in 2022 when the girls separately reported the historic incidents."
