ANDREW HAZEL FROM COLCHELLEH INDICTED FOR CHILD IMAGE OFFENSES IN NUNEATON

In November 2012, a man from Coleshill, identified as Andrew Jack Hazel, faced serious legal consequences after admitting to possessing indecent images of children. Hazel, aged 27 and residing on Springfields in Coleshill, appeared before the Nuneaton Magistrates' Court on October 23. During the hearing, he pleaded guilty to 14 separate charges related to the possession of images that violate the protections established under the Children Act.

Following his admission, the magistrates sentenced Hazel to a community order, which mandates his participation in a Community Sex Offender Programme. Additionally, he was placed under supervision to ensure compliance with the court's directives. As part of the court's ruling, Hazel was also ordered to pay £100 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, covering the expenses incurred during the prosecution process.
