In a disturbing case that has sent shockwaves through the community of Rickmansworth, Andrew Colville, a former teacher at the prestigious Royal Masonic School for Girls, has been found guilty of engaging in sexual activity with a minor under the age of 16. Colville, aged 45, appeared before Harrow Crown Court last Thursday, where he pleaded guilty to the charges. In 2014, Emily Fox, a 26-year-old games teacher, was convicted of sexually grooming a pupil. Fox was sentenced to 15 months in prison and was also placed on the sex offenders’ register for a decade, highlighting ongoing concerns about safeguarding within the institution and the importance of vigilance in protecting students from exploitation.
