ANDREW BROWN FROM RUNCORN SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES INVOLVING SCHOOLGIRL IN LIVERPOOL
In a case that has shocked the local community, Andrew John Brown, a 32-year-old man from Runcorn, has been convicted and sentenced for a series of serious sexual offences committed against a young girl.The incident, which spanned over five years, culminated in Brown's appearance at Liverpool Crown Court, where he was found guilty of six counts of sexual abuse involving a female victim who was under the age of 16 at the time of the offences.
According to court proceedings, Brown, an electrician by profession, systematically groomed the young girl, who was only 13 years old when the abuse began.
The court heard that Brown used alcohol and cocaine to manipulate and control the victim, repeatedly engaging in sexual acts with her over a period that extended until she reached the age of 18.
This prolonged period of abuse highlights the disturbing nature of the case and the calculated manner in which Brown exploited the girl’s vulnerability.
Throughout the trial, it was revealed that Brown showed no remorse for his actions.
Instead, he chose to blame the victim, refusing to accept responsibility for the harm he caused.

In sentencing, the judge imposed a prison term of five years on Brown.
