Update: Brown was rleased on 16th April, 2021 October 2018 Pervert groomed schoolgirl with alcohol and drugs A pervert that groomed and repeatedly abused a schoolgirl over a period of five years has been jailed. Andrew John Brown, 32 of Runcorn appeared at Liverpool Crown Court where he was found guilty by trial of six counts of serious sexual offences involving a female child aged under 16. The court heard that electrician Brown had plied the 13-year-old female victim with alcohol and cocaine before repeatedly abusing her over a five year period finally ending when she was 18.  The court was told that Brown has refused to show any remorse for his actions and instead blamed the child Brown pleaded not guilty but was found guilty by the jury at his trial of all six charges.  The judge handed Brown five years imprisonment  Brown was told to register as a sex offender for life and an indefinite sexual harm prevention order was also imposed
