2003: BURY MEN JAILED FOR SEX ASSAULT ON 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL
2003: Two men who were married and collaborated in sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl have been sentenced to two months in prison.
Paul Grocock, aged 33, and Andrew Brearley, aged 37, alternated in restraining the schoolgirl before touching her inappropriately at a residence in Bury.
Both men, fathers of two children, later issued apologies, claiming they had been simply 'larking around.' At Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court yesterday, Grocock, living on Wood Street, Bury, and Brearley, from Scholes Street, Bury, admitted to indecent assault.
They are required to register as sex offenders for a period of seven years.
The prosecution, led by Mr.
Philip Cattan, explained that the assault took place in November 2001.
