PEACEHAVEN DOG WALKER LEAVES DOG TO DIE IN HOT VEHICLE
Bergin-Parsons, who is also known as Allie Bergin, was prosecuted in relation to a three-year-old Welsh border collie/Labrador crossbreed called Frankie, who roasted to death in a hot vehicle while in her care.
The court heard Bergin-Parsons, who traded as Allie’s Pet Care Services, collected Frankie for a walk at approximately 9am on July 24, 2025.
At around 6pm Frankie’s owners returned home from work and could not find their pet.
They contacted Bergin-Parsons, who insisted she had dropped him off “hours ago”.
Initially believing Frankie had been stolen from their home, they began a frantic search but a GPS device attached to his collar led him to Bergin-Parsons’ driveway.
“When we got there [Allanna] came out of her house and said ‘It’s not good news'” said Frankie’s owner.
The dog was found deceased in the boot of Bergin-Parsons’ vehicle, which had the parcel shelf removed.
He had had no access to any food, water or fresh air.
The owner continued: “When I asked what happened, Allanna replied ‘I forgot him’.” From that point the owners claim to have received “no apology” from Bergin-Parsons, only “radio silence”.
Bergin-Parsons pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.
She vowed she would not care for dogs again after the tragedy.
