Bromsgrove Child Sexual Abuser
In January 2015, a serious and disturbing case emerged involving a fitness instructor from Bromsgrove who was found guilty of possessing indecent images of children. The individual in question, Alexander Milicev, who resides on Parkwood Road, was subjected to a detailed trial that uncovered his involvement with numerous illicit materials stored on his personal computer.

Milicev, aged 29 at the time, was convicted on three separate charges related to the possession of a total of 221 photographs depicting children in explicit and inappropriate contexts. The investigation also revealed that he possessed five indecent videos featuring minors, along with four extreme pornographic images and three additional films involving animals, which further compounded the severity of his offenses.

The criminal activities spanned a period from April 22, 2012, to August 13, 2013, during which the illicit materials were allegedly stored and accessed on his devices. Despite the gravity of the charges, Milicev, who is also known by the alias Sander, pleaded not guilty. His defense attorney, Mr. Pendle, stated that his client did not accept the allegations but acknowledged the court's verdict, emphasizing Milicev's cooperation throughout the legal proceedings.

Following the conviction, magistrates imposed a comprehensive sentence designed to monitor and restrict Milicev's future conduct. He was sentenced to a 36-month community order, which included a supervision requirement for the same duration. Additionally, he was mandated to participate in a sex offender group program to address his behavior.

Furthermore, the court placed a five-year Sexual Offenders Order on him, requiring Milicev to sign the Sex Offenders Register for the same period. Restrictions were also placed on his interactions with minors; he was prohibited from having any unsupervised contact with females under the age of 16 unless accompanied by a parent, guardian, or another suitable adult.

In terms of technology use, Milicev was barred from accessing any device capable of internet use unless it could retain and display browsing history, which must be made available to police upon request. He was also ordered not to install or use any software or hardware wiping utilities on any computer he controls or has access to, to prevent the deletion of evidence.

Financial penalties included a fine of £620 to cover costs and a victim surcharge of £60. The case's outcome prompted the Wychavon Leisure Trust, which manages the Dolphin Centre where Milicev conducted fitness sessions, to clarify his status. A spokesperson confirmed that Milicev was a freelance personal trainer who occasionally used the facilities but was not employed by the organization.

In light of his conviction, the trust announced that Milicev would no longer be permitted access to the Dolphin Centre, emphasizing their commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all visitors and staff.
