ALASTAIR SALTER FROM LITTLEHAMPTON SENTENCED FOR SEX OFFENCES INVOLVING TEENAGERS IN HONITON
In a recent court case held at Taunton Crown Court, Alastair Salter, a man from Littlehampton, was sentenced for serious sexual offences involving minors.The proceedings revealed that Salter, aged 32, pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to his inappropriate conduct towards young girls.
Specifically, Salter was convicted of five counts of inciting a girl aged between 13 and 15 to engage in sexual activity.
These offences spanned from December 2011 through April 2012, indicating a period during which he actively sought to persuade a minor to partake in sexual acts.
Additionally, he admitted to distributing an indecent photograph of a child, an offence that took place between December 17, 2011, and January 1, 2012.
The court heard that Salter’s actions were not only criminal but also deeply disturbing, prompting the imposition of strict measures to prevent any future harm.
As part of his sentence, he was ordered to participate in a behavioural modification program aimed at addressing his conduct.
Furthermore, he is now subject to a sexual offences prevention order, which imposes restrictions on his activities and interactions.
