Littleport Domestic Abuser
A man named Alan Wenn, aged 40, who lives on The Brambles in Littleport, has been sentenced to jail for attacking his ex-partner. The incident occurred around 11 pm on December 10, when Wenn visited the victim’s home. He became enraged and assaulted her by pushing her over, then strangling her while threatening to kill her. During the attack, the victim was so terrified that she videocall her daughter, who witnessed Wenn slap and push her mother. Police responded to the call and arrested Wenn. He admitted to making threats to kill and assaulting the victim. On June 6, at Peterborough Crown Court, Wenn was sentenced to 29 months in prison for these actions. Detective Constable Luke Currie described Wenn’s behavior as disgraceful, highlighting the graphic threats he made that caused the victim’s fear. The court’s verdict and sentences reflect the serious nature of domestic abuse crimes and the efforts to support victims.
