ALAN ROBERT HENNEBERRY SENTENCED TO 12 YEARS IN GRANTHAM FOR SERIOUS CHILD SEX OFFENCES
A man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after being found guilty of multiple sexual offences involving children.
Alan Robert Henneberry, of Grantham, was convicted on September 16 following a trial at Lincoln Crown Court.
The offences, which took place in 2019 and 2020, involved two victims under the age of 13.
Lincolnshire Police described the crimes as among "some of the most grave" they have investigated, emphasizing the serious harm caused to the young victims.
Henneberry, aged 34 and residing on Shaw Road, Grantham, faced charges including two counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, one count of sexual activity in the presence of a child, and one count of sexual assault by sexual touching.
In addition to these charges, he pleaded guilty to possession, creation, and distribution of indecent images of children.
Detective Constable Helen Morris of Lincolnshire Police's protecting vulnerable persons unit stated, "There is no length of sentence that could make up for the actions of this man.
