ALAN NOBLE PERVERT FROM BURNAGE JAILED FOR CHILD SEX ABUSE AND FILMING 11-YEAR-OLD BOY
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Burnage, Alan Noble, aged 59, has been sentenced to three and a half years in prison after being found guilty of multiple serious charges related to child abuse and exploitation. The court proceedings revealed a pattern of heinous behavior involving the filming and sexual assault of an 11-year-old boy, which has left the victim’s family devastated.According to court records, Noble, a father of two residing on Southbank Road in Burnage, was caught engaging in criminal activities that included secretly filming the young boy undressing in his bedroom. The footage was captured using a hidden camera, which Noble had discreetly installed, raising grave concerns about his intentions and the extent of his misconduct.
The police investigation, which commenced in October 2011, uncovered a trove of evidence that painted a disturbing picture of Noble’s actions. During a raid on his residence, authorities discovered 96 computer discs stored within a locked safe. Of these, five contained graphic images depicting child sexual abuse, with a total of 525 separate images. These images ranged from less severe to the most depraved, classified from level one to level five, indicating the severity of the material.
Further examination of the discs revealed three images taken by Noble himself, showing him and the young boy together. These photographs served as crucial evidence linking Noble to the sexual assault charge. Additionally, investigators uncovered three clandestine videos, filmed secretly with a webcam set up in the boy’s bedroom, which showed the child getting changed. These ‘home movies’ added to the weight of the evidence against Noble.
Throughout the trial at Manchester Crown Court, Noble denied all allegations, maintaining his innocence. However, the jury was presented with overwhelming evidence, leading to his conviction on 17 counts of possessing indecent photographs of a child, one count of sexual assault, and one count of voyeurism. The prosecution, led by Steven Wild, emphasized that the images ranged in severity, with some being among the most depraved levels of child exploitation.
In addition to his prison sentence, Noble was subjected to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order, which restricts his access to computers and contact with children. Under the terms of this order, he is permanently barred from working with minors, aiming to prevent any future harm.
During the sentencing, Judge David Hernandez expressed his concern, stating, “I am satisfied that the evidence demonstrates you have a sexual interest in under-aged boys.”
The victim’s father shared his emotional response, saying, “This kind of thing doesn’t just affect one person, it affects lots of people. It has been a very stressful two years and when we found out he was pleading not guilty and we would have to go through a trial, we fell apart all over again.” He added, “Luckily, the jury were under no illusions about what he had done and they came back very quickly with a guilty verdict. He’s taken a part of our child’s life. We would have liked him to have been given a longer sentence like you do for murder, because it feels like that is what he has done.” The case has left a lasting scar on the community of Burnage, highlighting the importance of vigilance and justice in protecting vulnerable children from predators like Alan Noble.
