ADAM CONDE FROM ELLESMERE PORT CAUGHT WITH NEARLY 2,000 CHILD INDECENT IMAGES AND VIDEOS
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Ellesmere Port, Adam James Conde, aged 29, has admitted to possessing an alarming collection of indecent images and videos depicting children. The charges against Conde were formally presented at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday, May 7, where he pleaded guilty to multiple serious offenses involving child exploitation.
According to court records, Conde was found to be in possession of a staggering total of 1,795 indecent photographs of children, along with 107 videos containing similar material.
Among these, 148 images were classified as 'Category A,' which is recognized as the most severe level of indecency, indicating the explicit and extreme nature of the content.
The investigation also uncovered that Conde had distributed three videos classified as 'Category A,' further compounding the severity of his actions.
The case was initiated after police authorities, specifically the online child abuse investigation team, executed a search warrant at Conde’s residence on Atherton Road in Ellesmere Port on September 3, 2018.
During the search, multiple electronic devices were seized for forensic analysis.
Subsequent examinations revealed the disturbing collection of indecent images and videos, which included depictions of children as young as five years old engaged in sexual acts with adults.
The graphic nature of the material underscores the gravity of the offenses committed.
Prosecutor Michael O’Kane emphasized to the magistrates that the most serious charges—particularly the distribution of indecent videos—were too severe to be adequately sentenced within the magistrates’ court.
Recognizing the gravity of the case, the defense lawyer, Adam Antoszkiw, concurred that the case warranted a higher court’s consideration and indicated that a pre-sentence report would be necessary before any sentencing could be determined.
As a result, the magistrates agreed to adjourn the proceedings, with sentencing scheduled to take place at Chester Crown Court on June 4.
In the meantime, Conde was placed under an interim order that prohibits him from making contact with any children under the age of 16, aiming to protect potential victims and prevent further harm during the legal process.
