Sex Offender Aaron Davison Jailed for Teen Assault

A man known as Aaron Davison, aged 31, has been convicted and imprisoned for sexually assaulting and raping a teenage girl at an address in Northumberland in July 2020. Following a trial at Newcastle Crown Court, Davison was found guilty of these serious sexual offenses and has been sentenced to 12 years in prison. The court also ordered Davison to register as a sex offender for life. His former girlfriend, Sarah Pringle, aged 29, was also convicted and sentenced to three years after being found guilty of perverting the course of justice by washing Davison's clothes to remove evidence and providing false statements to hinder the investigation. The victim disclosed the attack to a family member, leading police to arrest Davison, who initially denied the crimes. The police described Davison's actions as 'preyed' on a teenage girl in a 'cold and careless way,' subjecting her to 'the worst ordeal imaginable.' Det Con Karen Douglas stated that Davison did not care about the long-term effects his actions could have on the victim.
