In April 2016, ten men received over 125 years in jail for serious sexual offences committed against young girls and women in Rochdale.

The convictions followed reports from victims, including a woman who was groomed from age 14.

The offences involved victims aged between 13 and 23, with crimes occurring from 2004 to 2008.

Sentences ranged from seven to 25 years, with several men still wanted by police.

The investigation, Operation Doublet, was conducted by Greater Manchester Police into child sexual exploitation in Rochdale.
